The thing I like about memes is the feeling that I don't have to really think about what to right about. Just fill in a form, "plop, plop, plop", and *BAM* blog post. Perfect for someone who can't bring herself to write a full paragraph these days.
Today's meme comes to us from "Running with a Vagina", written by a fellow Jezzie. It is called "What's in your purse?". Do you remember when Seventeen would go to real high schools and photograph people and their purses? I always daydreamed about what my purse would have in it if the magazine came to my school. It would probably have: books, a binder, hair ties, a CD player, the original cast recording of RENT, some pens and all the poor self esteem I had from spending 5 years trying to get a gaggle of immature bitches with daddy issues and eating disorders to be my friends.
Today my purse contains:
- 1 cellphone
- 1 information packet about long term care insurance
- 1 UCSC Nalgene bottle
- 1 cloth tag from a jacket I bought yesterday
- 1 pair Oliver Goldsmith perscription sunglasses
- 1 Moleskine notebook
- 1 Battlestar Galactica season 2.5
- 1 iPod Touch
- 1 cellphone charger
- 1 wallet
- 1 Chapstick
- 3 receipts
- 1 sheet of notes on various learning principals
- 2 bottles of lotion from the hotel Jack & stayed at in SF
- 1 disposble camera
- 1 organic cotton tampon
- 2 mini Reese's peanut butter cups
- 3 Reese's mini peanut butter eggs
- 2 bandages
- 1 bottle of EO Organic Lavender Hand Sanitizing Spray

Oh and I found the best yarn from knit picks (and for $1.99, I bought enough for two scarves, one in a array of pinks, the other in blues) and the scarf is looking great. It's the crocheted Icarus scarf on purlbee.com
